The epicenter was located near the city of Trieste, and the tremor was felt throughout the region of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, including the cities of Udine, Pordenone, and Gorizia.

According to the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the earthquake occurred at 2:19 pm local time (12:19 pm UTC). The tremor was felt strongly in Trieste, where residents reported shaking buildings and broken windows. Similar reports came in from Udine and other towns in the region.

The earthquake caused no immediate reports of serious injuries or major damage. However, authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any structural damage to their homes or businesses. Emergency services are currently assessing the situation, and inspections of buildings are underway.
